Ficoa Communications offers a comprehensive range of Wireless infrastructure support from OSP/ISP services to help meet the demands of a growing industry.

We offer “end to end” solutions for Carrier Upgrades, Cell Backhaul to routine Maintenance. Our personnel are trained with the proper construction, technical and safety techniques to ensure a successful project. We use latest in carrier approved test equipment to meet site documentation requirements.

 

 WIRELESS CAPABILTIES

AWS Shelter Modifications

Site Modifications: Installation of Coax or Hybrid cable, OVP, AC/DC Power Cable, Equipment and grounding modifications.

ENODE B Cabinet Installations

Installation, commissioning and integration of the Ethernet base station radio per VZW practices. Includes DC power addtions and testing of optical fibers for transport.

Ethernet Router installations (Cisco 1002 & ALU 7705)

Installation and test and turn up for 4 LTE platform. Per the VZW practices.

Tiger Teams

Trouble shooting teams responding to issues (alarms, loose connectors, etc.) isolated to the tower that is affecting performance.

Power Upgrades

AC-DC upgrades to accommodate increased amperage loads due to new equipment additions. Generator and ATS upgrade services

De-Commissioning

Removal of coax (1” 5/8) required due to hybrid fiber additions, RRU’s and existing antenna arrays replaced by retrofitting new antenna technology.

Site Surveys

Evaluation and overview of existing sites to produce SOW’s for future upgrades.

LTE Upgrades

Modifications to site to upgrade equipment to deploy LTE services .

AWS Tower Modifications

Installation and testing of the tower AWS antenna's (Ericsson Air) and fiber hybrid cable per sector includes the power and optical test and turn up per the VZW practices.
Includes the PIM, Fiber and Sweep test required on coax per the MOP.

Carrier Equipment Upgrades

Retrofit operator equipment to include necessary structural tower modifications to owners engineering specifications!
