Charter Communications Power Supply Maintenance and Transponder Upgrade in the Georgia and Alabama KMA.

What we did

  • Replacement of Bad Alpha XM2 Inverters
  • Upgrade Alpha XM1 to Alpha XM3
  • Upgrade Breakers
  • Install RF and AC Surge Arrestors
  • Installation of Alpha Guard Battery Management Control
  • Upgrade Outlets
  • Installation of Transponders
  • Activation of Transponders with Seldon Systems
  • Replacement of Batteries
  • Disposal of Batteries
  • Installation of RF Taps and DCs’

This Power Supply upgrade took place from 4/15/13 to 9/15/13. The included scope of Power Supplies numbered around 1,900. This portion of the Charter KMA Project was completed nearly a month and a half ahead of schedule,  in additon to the 1000 maintenance only locations.
